Microsoft Dynamics 365 is the next Big Wave in the Dynamics World
With the looming introduction of Microsoft Dynamics 365 in autumn 2016, the technology world is now dissecting its potential effect.
For those, that are not aware, Dynamics 365 is the blend of Microsoft Dynamics CRM and the organization's ERP offerings into one available cloud package, streamlining and incorporating Microsoft's offerings for customers.
It was conceived as a component of Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella's main goal to make the tech mammoth's product into an immaculate integrated cloud based solution.
From his LinkedIn article, Nadella said: “Two years ago, we set out with an ambition to reinvent productivity and business processes. In a world of infinite information and computing and finite attention and time, we aim to help everyone get more out of every moment and change the nature of digital work within organisations of all sizes”.
Nadella asserted that Microsoft Dynamics 365 would support businesses to move from obsolete application suites to intelligent SaaS applications, seamlessly integrate with Microsoft Office 365, and introduce client centered plans of action into organizations.
Nadella is promising a lot but will Microsoft Dynamics 365 but will be the next big wave for companies?
Adrian Bridgwater, technology Journalist’s article in Forbes said: Is this one tool (or one software suite) to rule them all? Microsoft might have given its product a 365 every-day-of-the-year nametag, but it faces perennial market competition in this space from Salesforce, Oracle and (with ERP in mind specifically) SAP and a clutch of others. It will also have to work hard to make sure there is connected integrated compatibility throughout the evolution of Dynamics 365.”
Kelsey Mason, Analyst from TBR says: “Dynamics 365 aligns business applications with customer use cases. Microsoft continually evolves its portfolio to address customers’ specific needs and use cases. The launch of Dynamics 365 in July, which brings together CRM, ERP and productivity under a common data model in the public cloud, allows customers to purchase products based on their unique roles. Closer ties, both functionality- and pricing-wise, to Office 365 will drive adoption of Microsoft’s business applications”.
Microsoft Dynamics 365 clients will have additional access to Microsoft's Power BI and Cortana software inside the apps. This is to enable sales groups, with necessary predictions on business opportunities well in advance.
With a flexible, extensible platform and built in intelligent apps, Dynamics 365 enables companies to be agile, attune and innovate in real time, thus making it the Next Big Wave for the companies.
