SAGlobal Brings Chemonics Live as Early Adopter of New Microsoft Dynamics 365 for Talent Solution
If you’re not familiar with Dynamics 365 for Talent, this is a new SaaS cloud-based Human Capital Management solution that is part of Microsoft’s Dynamics 365 solution, a next generation suite of intelligent cloud-based business applications. Dynamics 365 for Talent helps organizations strategically attain, empower, and optimize their talent. The solution leverages integration with LinkedIn Talent Solutions to help employers build compelling brands, post job openings, and streamline the process of finding qualified applicants. By integrating candidates from LinkedIn and other applicant tracking systems (ATS) into Dynamics 365 for Talent, recruiters and hiring managers can accelerate the candidate interviewing and hiring process. And by offering personalized onboarding experiences, organizations can ensure that new employees are acclimated, connected, and productive as quickly as possible.
Microsoft approached SAGlobal and Chemonics about implementing the new Dynamics 365 for Talent solution as an early adopter prior to the new application being publicly announced. This early adopter program helped Chemonics gain early insight on the new tool, while providing Microsoft’s R&D team with valuable feedback to help optimize the solution. Chemonics was the first organization to go “live” on the new solution.
Headquartered in Washington D.C., Chemonics is one of the world’s leading partners in international development. The organization has over 4,000 specialists, and experience working in over 150 countries around the world, managing practices ranging from agricultural and private sector development, to health and education, to environment and natural resource sustainability. As examples of their work, Chemonics ensures that life-saving medicines are delivered to remote villages to prevent and treat malaria and HIV/AIDS, helps countries build curriculum and train teachers to ensure that all second graders can read and write, and works with governments to reform their criminal justice system to ensure that all people get a fair trial
Chemonics’ Executive Vice President, Eric Reading, described their needs around HCM and talent management as follows:
“Bringing strong talent into our organization is central to Chemonics’ mission to promote meaningful change around the world to help people live healthier, more productive, and more independent lives. The fact that we need to attract and onboard talent across our 80 field offices around the globe makes this process quite challenging. Once recruited, it is essential that we can match the skills and expertise of our global talent with the right projects worldwide.
By working with SAGlobal to implement Dynamics 365 for Talent, we’ve gained a standardized global tool for identifying candidates, managing our hiring process, efficiently onboarding talent into the organization, and effectively deploying that talent. And best of all, this will integrate to our Dynamics 365 ERP platform to ensure that our human capital management processes aren’t isolated from the rest of our business. This will be a transformative change for our organization."
We were very excited to be asked to participate with Microsoft in Chemonics’ early adoption of Dynamics 365 for Talent. With our industry focus being in the professional services industries, our clients view managing their talent and human capital as mission critical. So, we’re thrilled to have a modern, cloud based solution as part of the Dynamics 365 suite, and are eager to begin working with our clients to help them transform their talent and human capital management practices.
